Friday: 4:00pm – 1:30am
Saturday: 2:00pm – 1:30am
Sunday: 1:00pm to 6:00pm

ROOF Safety Guidelines

We are committed to providing you a safe dining experience at ROOF.  Local government rules for this hotel require the use of a mask in public spaces along with proof of vaccination to access dining facilities. Upon entering ROOF, you will be required to present a photo i.d. along with proof of vaccination. Valid proof can be provided in the form of the vaccination card, photocopy of vaccination card, digital record or app or printed record from vaccine provide. For more information, please visit Chicago.gov/COVIDVax.

Health and Safety

The health and safety of our guests and team members is our top priority. We have taken necessary steps to ensure everyone’s safety, and in return ask our guests to share in the responsibility.

In accordance with local and CDC guidelines, face coverings are required in all indoor public settings. Masks can be removed at restaurants, bars and other eating/drinking establishments by patrons when they are actively eating/drinking while stationary. ROOF Gallery and Hangover, both outdoor patios, do not require masks when windows are open.

Dress to Impress. ROOF is an upscale establishment, located within a contemporary 4-star hotel, and we love when our guests dress for the occasion and appear in fashionable attire to reinforce the upscale environment. Sport jackets and dresses are always welcome! Please refrain from wearing hats, beach attire, worn out shoes, workout attire, sweats, sleeveless shirts for men, offensive wording or depiction on any clothing, ripped or torn jeans, exposed undergarments, bandanas, and any other attire ROOF Management determines to be inappropriate. ROOF Management has final approval on any guest entry into the venue, and reserves the right to turn away guests who are determined to be inappropriately dressed regardless of the reservation status.

Safety is the foundation of our dress code. Therefore, ROOF Management also reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest who appears to be impaired by alcohol or drugs, or is acting in a manner determined by ROOF Management to be threatening, combative, aggressive or disrespectful toward other guests, or any ROOF, Hotel, Security employees or other personnel. Any exercise of discretion under this presentation code shall be applied in a gender-neutral, nondiscriminatory manner, in accordance with all applicable laws.
